Join us for the event that kicks off the annual SpringOUT Festival program.
This is a free one-day outdoor event in Glebe Park filled with entertainment from Australia’s finest performing artists, a village of market stalls representing our diverse community organisations and local businesses, plus it is showcasing Canberra’s finest food and wines produced within the region.
There’s non-stop entertainment on the mainstage and throughout Glebe Park!

Fair Day Markets
One of the biggest drawcards to Fair Day is the markets, with 60+ stalls and an abundance of diverse artisan, community, and business-related stalls celebrating queer Canberra.
Headliners
Oxford Street’s drag powerhouse is taking the Fair Day stage! Minnie brings that perfect blend of comedy, charisma, and pure camp that'll have you gagging. Known for quick wit, stunning looks, and the ability to work a crowd like nobody's business, Minnie Cooper is the energy we all need in our lives. She has won more DIVA Awards than almost any other artist, including four-time ‘Entertainer of the Year’, ‘Sydney’s Favourite Drag Queen’ and ‘Choreographer of the Year’! She also appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. Minnie’s appearance at Fair Day is thanks to Canberra Mini Garage.

When Andrea Kirwin opens her mouth, magic happens. This powerhouse vocalist brings live vocals that'll give you full-body chills and might make you cry your mascara off (in the best way). Andrea's performances are raw, emotional, and absolutely captivating, the kind of talent that reminds you why live music hits different. She will be performing with her wife, Claire Evelynn, on Celtic harp and Chris Pound on Bass. It will be the first time the trio performs at a festival in Canberra together.
